Projects available

Our workshops are an exciting way to engage your students while supporting their physical, emotional, and academic growth, allowing students to explore their subject areas in a creative hands on way whilst embracing different learners and making sure every child is given the opportunity to take part and shine.

EYFS/KS1

  • All About Me! - Personal, social and emotional development
  • Journey through the Jungle - adaptable (Rainforests)

KS1/KS2

KS2

  • Ancient Egyptians and the River Nile
  • Explorers
  • Rivers; Dive into children's river poetry and local stories of floods, rills and marshes. 
  • Natural Disasters
  • BOOST!, promoting good mental health

CPD

  • This is also an essential experience for teachers, being part of the project will increase your confidence in teaching dance as part of the curriculum in the future. 

Many of our schools are able to take part through funding supporting mental health and wellbeing and Sports Premium Funding - supporting CPD opportunities for school staff within the education sector.

How long and how much

Our dance leader will be with you for 5/6 weeks, delivering weekly 1 hour workshops.

Costs are £50 per hour + travel at 45p per mile from Worcester

Here's an example costing for a Dancefest in Education project:

  • A 6 week project with 1 class = £300 (+ travel at 45p per mile)
  • A 6 week project with 2 classes = £600 (+ travel at 45p per mile)
