a promenade performance
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December 2010 at 7.30pm
The Commandery, Sidbury, Worcester, WR1 2HU
The Commandery is a glorious Grade 1 listed site, dating back to the 12th century with a long and varied history. A letter on display from the dying Duke of Hamilton to his wife during the Battle of Worcester begins ‘Dear Heart...’ This performance takes this and other clues and snippets of the building’s history to create an imaginative journey using dance, music and film.
Dancefest groups of all ages, plus special guests Angel Dance Co Lab, historical dance group The Warwick Courtiers and vocal group Colla Voce create a unique and atmospheric performance in a beautiful setting.
Please note this is a promenade performance with no formal seating and the Commandery can be chilly so please wrap up warmly. Due to the nature of the performance and site please inform us on booking if you are a wheelchair user or have limited mobility.
