Ssshhhhhhhh! Don’t tell anyone – but over half term we have some fun classes for children - they’ll be creating dance which will pop up and surprise people at the Dancefest Picnic in July.
We’re opening up some of our classes as part of this national event – so come along FOR FREE to any of the classes below at their usual times (see timetable for details), chat to dancers and have a go!

We’re spreading our love of dance this summer, with a week’s summer school for all ages.

Create a dance in a day with Elizabeth Crosswell. At the end of the day share your love of dance with an informal performance to family and friends. £15
10am-3pm, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, Worcester, WR1 3PD
Working with dance artist Clare Wood to create a dance film in a day, using The Hive as a starting point for movement and a backdrop for the film. £15
10am-3pm, The Courtyard, Edgar Street, Hereford, HR4 9JR
Sensory and movement based experience with dance artist Michele Holder. Be creative, meet new people and make a dance in a day. £15
5-10s at 10am-12 noon, 11-14s at 1-3pm,

Summer dance sessions with Janene Wyatt, giving aspiring performers the opportunity to share their love of dance and learn new skills. Parents can come along and see what they’ve created. £7.50

A practical dance CPD workshop led by dance artist Lauren Trim, focusing on different ways to approach choreography. Suitable for dance and theatre practitioners who work with people of all ages and abilities. £7.50
We can also bring one off dance workshops and longer-term projects into your school, community group or care home, including contemporary and creative dance workshops, Dance for Parkinson's sessions and intergenerational work.
